What a wonderful dinner date at Melisse! The ambiance is intimate and filled with great music. Stellar service provided by the staff with detailed explanations of each course. Wine pairings always make the experience interactive and memorable! Will definitely be returning soon.

I am going to give you my dear friend Mike's review. We had a beautiful dinnere here three weeks before he died unexpectedly at age 78: "What an experience for my tastebuds! That was the best meal of my life. And what makes that meal great was a fair amount of the dishes I would not choose! The experience was great. My favorite, I think, was the ice cream. I was too full to eat the last bits of the meal." Michael was a foodie from way back and a "super taster," so knew whereof he spoke. Thank you to the chef and his kitchen staff, and to the exceptional servers, for making this such an exceptional evening.

The food... a+ .. who can compete. Wow! 18 course meal for $400 per person. I thought I was going to be hungry but after 18 course meal I was filled!. Each gourmet bite or course was a carnival in your mouth. Juicy.. and crunchy.. and sweet to sour. I could taste every bit of happiness in the welcoming lemon drink . We added the additional $175 black truffle .. but I think we could've done without that. There was wagyu on a lite crisp. There was chermoya over shaved ice. Only to have the real experience to to go . Highly recommend the experience. The service was on par. Tho my husband got In trouble using flash pictures. Every one was professional and friendly. We got to meet the chef Josiah citrin. The ambiance is dim and quiet with soft rock n roll music as background.. for a couple or group of friends. There was only 5 tables in the room. We were served as a chefs table. They served each meal all at once. I loved the sugar cookies in a cute melisse box and gave us the menu in an envelope. Truly an experience . Thank you Mr. Citrin.

What a wonderful experience! We came here for the first time to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. It's a small room with only 5-6 tables. All the servers were very attentive. You can see them preparing the food in front of you. I loved the decor, it was like we were in a music studio with music themes everywhere. All the dishes were delicious & beautifully prepared. I enjoyed all the flavors, textures & mixture of ingredients, everything tasted very fresh, the wagyu was delicious. It was a very expensive meal, a once in a lifetime experience.

It never fails to amaze me every time I dine at Mélisse!! Another incredible evening of dining with creative, fun, delicious menu. Service by the entire team was absolutely spot on, professional, and personable. Can't wait to return again.

We love coming here for special occasions!! We have been 3 times so far and it's been so Special each time. The chef and the staff put so much thought and effort into everything here and it shows!! They ask that you arrive promptly as all the dishes come out at the same time for the whole restaurant and its customers. They have a wine pairing and a mock tail pairing. Both are amazing! Each time we have went the menu was different and I loved that even the artwork on the walls has changed. The waiters explain everything you're eating and drinking down to the tee and it's appreciated. They will even announce to the whole restaurant certain details about specific dishes as well. The whole experience is about 3 hours and you leave STUFFED!! I can't wait to come back and see what new amazing menu the chef and his talented team whip up

I'm giving them 5 stars despite the way our night began at the entrance. Everything thereafter was fantastic. I got a phone call the night before my reservation to go over everything and was told to get there a little bit early just so that the meal could start on time for all parties. We got there about 7 minutes prior to the reservation time so we went to the bar where we were told we could wait until someone comes out to get us. I was able to order a drink that I only got 2 sips of. A guy came out, approached us and instantly took us for the wrong party. He told me I was a party of 3. I told him I was in fact a party of 2 and paid for such. He argued back and said he would have to charge me for the 3rd person to which I said I will do no such thing. This is when I got annoyed because he clearly wasn't listening to anything I said to him. I reiterated that I'm under a party of 2, provided my name again then waited for all that to finally sink in for him. He didn't appreciate the smartass comment I made. In my defense, how are you going to come up at me so defensive and so sure that you're right that it took me having to say the same thing 3 times because you tuned me out to make sure I could hear you overpower the conversation. Even the bartender who served me a strong espresso martini told us that the guy went off the rails. Everything changed once we were in the other room. Someone brought over my drink and dropped it off at our table. We were seated right next to the record player. Speaking of which, the tunes were popping. I ended up doing the wine pairing and my friend got a couple of cocktails. The tasting was amazing. Every dish was a winner. I'm glad I came hungry because boy was there a lot of food. They did a great job pacing each serving. I was the right amount of full at the end of the night and just the right amount of tipsy. I'm glad I finally made it in because this place has been on my list for ages. Years.

There were many dishes so I couldn't add all the photos. I would say around 1/3 of the dishes were too salty which is a rare thing I would say for a Michelin rated restaurant. I like that they really tried to explore new styles of cooking, but around 1/3 didn't really pair well or tasted just kind of odd (I love unusual foods btw). Service was amazing as always and the presentation was perfect. The prices aren't really worth it for me and I'd probably eat else where.
